Athugasemdir A sketch in Letter 213 (Rappard 14). 'Orphan man' was the colloquial term used for almsmen in the Geest district of The Hague at the time. The model is Adrianus Jacobus Zuyderland, Vincent's favourite model at this time. The identification was made by J. A Visser on the basis of his almshouse number 199.
